Some customer builds deserve a closer look—and this MG from New Zealand is one of them.
Our customer sent us photos of his modified MG, combining classic British sports car character with a high-horsepower, turbocharged Nissan engine swap. For the interior, he chose a pair of Stitch Freak Stryker low back bucket seats in a bomber-style design, finished in traditional vinyl with standard pleat stitching.
These seats took a long trip to reach their new home, and we’re excited to share the build.
A Classic MG with Turbocharged Nissan Power
An engine swap can give a classic sports car an entirely different personality. This customer took that idea seriously, bringing turbocharged Nissan power to his MG.
The result is a personal take on the classic British sports car: familiar MG character with a very different engine under the hood. His choice of seats brings that same custom-build approach into the cabin.
Stryker Low Back Bucket Seats with Standard Pleat Stitching
For this MG interior, the customer selected our Stitch Freak Stryker low back bucket bomber-style seats with traditional vinyl upholstery and standard pleat stitching.
The low back design offers an alternative to the tall seatbacks of many modern seats. Standard pleats give the upholstery a straightforward, traditional appearance—a fitting choice for a classic sports car with modern performance modifications.

-
Seat style: Stryker low back bucket seats

Planning Seats for Your Own MG?
If you’re researching replacement seats for an MG or planning a custom British sports car interior, this build offers inspiration for using low back bucket seats.
Before ordering, compare the seat dimensions with your car’s available space. Check seat width, seating height, transmission tunnel clearance, door clearance, and mounting requirements. This customer’s installation is an example of a custom application; it does not establish direct fitment for every MG model.
